Remember you can and will
be successful in quiting and it need not be
difficult.
But first....
| |
Why do we tell you about these 80 Million
ex-smokers ?
Because, at this
stage it is so important that you can at least
feel that there is some hope that
you can quit.
Can you
at least, allow yourself to think of it as
a possibility?
Maybe you can say
to yourself:
"If all these
people can stop smoking ...surely there
is still hope that
I can?
Now....
Can I explain how
YOU CAN quit smoking AND NOT FIND IT
DIFFICULT?
Yes, I really
mean this.
Quit smoking DOES NOT HAVE
TO BE DIFFICULT. And it does NOT mean you
have to gain weight, when you
stop.
But first........
Can YOU face this
truth?
If you are honest
right now, you believe 100% -----
no, 1 BILLION % that:
If you do stop
smoking, your life will be
terrible.
You believe you
will have lost one of your most treasured
'pleasures'.
Isn't that true?
Even now, I bet
even the mere thought of not being able
to smoke fills you with dread:
A Happy non-smoker?
Right now, you must be
BRUTALLY honest with yourself.
On the surface,
YOU may want to stop smoking.
But deep
down.......... you are probably TOTALLY,
ABSOLUTELY, 1,000% convinced that you could
not get through the day - OR really
be HAPPY if you could not
smoke.
Like most
smokers, you like to smoke. You look
forward to your cigarette.
You genuinely
BELIEVE that smoking is ENJOYABLE. That
it is essential.....:
.......To your
happiness.
.......To your
comfort.
.......To your
peace of mind.
The agony of Conflict.
But a part
of you still wants to give
quit smoking -because they are killing
you.
They are
literally destroying
you.
And so one day.....
You decide
to give up.
But we all know
what really happens?
You're given up.
Everything has gone well for the first few days
(or hours).
Then, after a
while you feel an
unconscious urge to smoke but you
remember you have given up so you fight
it..............
And fight
it.......and fight it.
And after a
little while, a full scale civil war is
RAGING within
you.
One part
of you doesn't want to smoke while
another part of you, desperately
wants to smoke.
Both parts
are now FIGHTING each
other.
 |
You are being torn apart,
internally and it FEELS
terrible |
.......And after
a little while, you start to feel tired
and tense as this internal battle
continues to rage.
And you
curse the day that you decided to stop smoking.
And after a
while......we either keep on resisting
the temptation to smoke or we give
in, have a smoke and promise to start
again next Monday........
But whatever
choice we make, there is one thing we will all
remember:
"How horrible and
terrible this giving up smoking is".
And yet.......
You could not
be more wrong!
Yes, most of
us who stop smoking will experience
this horror and frustration.
Most of us already
have.
Why?
Because 99.9% of
smokers who try to quit will try to do
it through WILLPOWER
alone.
They will try and
FORCE THEMSELVES to
stop.
But.........
We all know what really
happens..........
 |
Using
willpower and the best intentions in
the world, they will pick a day,
usually a
Monday......
...... maybe,
buy themselves a packet of nicotine
patches.......... |
.......then
steel themselves to feel terrible
for a long while.......
..........and
with fingers crossed, then hope and pray for the
best.
In
fact, they are really terrified but they
hope with enough willpower and
effort they will
succeed..........
|
But most of us don't.
All we end up
experiencing is...........pain and
misery, and the horrible fear that we
will ALWAYS feel
like this if we can't
smoke.
But........
Please look very
careful at this:
The pain and misery that you experience
when you can't smoke is not caused
by
the FACT that you can't smoke.
I know we all
believe it is, but in
fact.....
The cigarette is
irrelevant. Here's
why.......
But
first..... |
